Dr. Angie Fincannon

Bio

Dr. Fincannon has more than 30 years of experience in higher education with a wide array of leadership roles that include vice chancellor for university advancement and director of athletics. In addition, she serves as a tenured faculty member, with experience in teacher education, higher education administration, sport management and the PhD in Global Leadership. In addition to teaching, Dr. Fincannon serves on dissertation committees, and her service includes developing programs and partnerships for the Indiana Tech Center for Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship. She is passionate about mentoring and supporting students, working alongside faculty to provide programmatic opportunities for them to succeed. In addition, Dr. Fincannon is certified as a Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) trainer and coach, which provides research, insight and support for leaders. Her research involves leadership, women in leadership, educational leadership, team-building and strategic planning.
