Richard Worsham

Richard Worsham

Richard never thought he would be interested in motorcycling, but he found an appreciation for riding through his teenage fascination with vintage pedal-type mopeds like Puchs, Garellis and Batavus. These lightweight machines were easy to understand and tinker with, which was helpful since they required constant maintenance. They also tended to collect an unusual community of riders that made riding them an equally social and mechanical activity. This appreciation for slower, less-conventional adventure eventually led to the idea of manufacturing a motorcycle around just these principles and the founding of Janus Motorcycles in 2011. At Janus, Richard directs design, engineering and company vision. He lives in Goshen, Indiana with his wife, Amy, and their three daughters.
