Why I Teach

I just graduated this May, so this would be my first time teaching a class. Before joining IT, I was a Graduate TA for 5 semesters during my Ph.D. studies at the University of Notre Dame. The classes I TA’ed were undergrad algorithms and cryptography. I found it very interesting to get along with students, and the positive feedback from my students when I solved their problems was the most fulfilling moment during my teaching experience. Therefore, I decided to devote more time to the education side of this field after my graduation.

Additional Information

I started playing table tennis when I was in middle school, and I’m still playing it for fun. I think I’m better than average, but I’m open to any kind of challenge, haha.

I also enjoy finding delicious food around me, though I’m too lazy to explore the restaurants one by one. Hence, it would be appreciated if you could recommend any places in your mind, and I’ll try to exchange the sharing with some snacks.
