College of BusinessThe associate degree in business administration is built on the same philosophy of interdisciplinary learning as the bachelor’s degree programs. Production management is one of two concentrations available.
The production management concentration provides you with a technical focus on the design of production systems, including:
- Product and service design
- Location planning
- Capacity planning
- Design of facilities and work systems
- Lean manufacturing concepts
Supporting courses — such as project management, occupational safety and health, and quality management — provide you with an understanding of tools used to create a competitive production environment.
Starting Your Career
Graduates of the production management program are prepared for production support positions in any manufacturing firm.
You also will be ready to continue your education in the bachelor’s degree program.
