Microcredentials

Getting an internship is a competitive process. To help students prepare for these opportunities, Indiana Tech offers industry-focused microcredentials. These short, career-focused learning experiences are designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence employers are seeking when evaluating internship candidates.

Each microcredential consists of a three-class sequence totaling nine credit hours. Classes can be taken in person or online.

Stand out to employers.

A microcredential from Indiana Tech will equip you with practical skills and a career-focused credential that helps you:

  • Build knowledge of today’s business, marketing, finance, insurance and accounting environments.
  • Demonstrate initiative and career readiness beyond your degree program.
  • Strengthen professional communication, problem-solving and workplace confidence.
  • Enhance your résumé with a credential that sets you apart from other candidates.
  • Prepare for internships and make an immediate impact in the workplace.

For microcredentials, prerequisites can be waived in most cases.
