Bio
With more than 20 years of combined academic and industry experience, Dr. Shadi Jawhar’s work bridges software engineering, cybersecurity and AI-driven innovation. Over the past two years, his research has centered on integrating artificial intelligence to enhance cybersecurity tasks, including the automation of policy design, development of adaptive training and awareness programs and the use of AI to strengthen cyber resilience in areas such as cyber insurance. This work has led to multiple IEEE publications and international conference presentations in the United States and abroad. In addition to his research, Dr. Jawhar has extensive expertise in curriculum design, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity, networks and software engineering. He also collaborates with industry partners to advance compliance training platforms aligned with standards such as NIST, ISO, SOC-2, HIPAA, and CMMC.
