With this degree, you will be able to recognize market opportunities, develop new business concepts, evaluate the start-up potential of a business, conduct a feasibility study, create a business plan and network with other experienced entrepreneurs.

The program lead is experienced in marketing and entrepreneurship; she has started and operated her own business, has trained other entrepreneurs in start-up and business growth and has maintained a strong network with entrepreneurs.

You will work closely with Indiana Tech’s Center for Creative Collaboration (C3), a university organization that fosters a constant environment of entrepreneurial study in the region.

Your education will be project-based—you will work on real projects for entrepreneurs and companies.

The program lead is a member of the American Marketing Association and the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and she integrates principles from both organizations into program course content.

Program Lead

Dr. Lugar Brettin’s experience includes launching her own business, and collaborating on the start-up and formation of new ventures. She is also experienced in training entrepreneurs and business owners in business feasibility, start-up evaluation, business plan creation and entrepreneurial planning and growth. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She publishes in peer-reviewed journals focused on marketing and entrepreneurship education.
