Health Care Management, M.B.A.

College of Business

Health care is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. As members of the Baby Boomer generation age, the industry must innovate and expand to meet the needs imposed upon it. Hospitals, medical technology companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and research facilities will need flexible, engaging managers who can steer the companies into the future. If this is a challenge that excites you, you may be interested in an Indiana Tech master of business administration (MBA) with a concentration in health care management.

Service Through Business Management

Built on a strong MBA core, our program is designed to equip students with the management skills necessary to move healthcare organizations forward. You will study the ethical issues involved in business as well as those specific to the practice and management for health care decisions. We emphasize development of the problem-solving and decision-making skills necessary to lead teams, groups, divisions, and organizations. Our students also will learn the process of strategy formulation, implementation, and oversight of those organizations.

Fulfilling Careers

With an MBA in health care management, graduates will be prepared to manage groups of healthcare staff members, plan, and direct healthcare operations and facilities. Graduates may also find career paths in the government side of health care management and finance.
