How We Do Online
Long known as a proficient provider of online education, Indiana Tech is now leading the way in providing innovative, hands-on engineering education, creating learning opportunities—once thought impossible—for our students.
Yes, we said hands‑on
We have integrated at-home lab kits into our curriculum to help students master engineering concepts in a hands-on fashion. Here is an example of a lab kit for our Electrical Engineering Technology students.

Power Supply

The power supply is utilized to deliver power to the circuits that students will be assembling. It can supply three different voltages concurrently, which facilitates the construction of a broad array of circuits. Additionally, this device includes two sets of cables that can be utilized with other equipment.
Breadboard

The component box includes all the devices necessary for completing the lab assignments. It contains resistors, capacitors, inductors, integrated circuit (IC) chips, and various other devices. The items within this box are utilized across multiple lab courses.
Multimeter

The multimeter serves as the instrument for conducting all measurements in laboratory assignments. This specific model is capable of measuring a broad array of signals. The primary functions of the multimeter include measuring resistance, voltage, and current. Furthermore, this multimeter is equipped with an oscilloscope, enabling the observation of AC signals. Additionally, it features a basic function generator that will also be utilized. Each kit is supplied with two multimeters, as certain labs require the use of two devices for their completion.
Components

The component box includes all the devices necessary for completing the lab assignments. It contains resistors, capacitors, inductors, integrated circuit (IC) chips, and various other devices. The items within this box are utilized across multiple lab courses.
Jumper Wire

This box holds wires of various lengths suitable for use in a breadboard. These wires are essential for circuit assembly. If the wires are not positioned accurately, the circuits will not function properly.
