Build Your Global Leadership Skills

The post-graduate certificate in Global Leadership at Indiana Tech is designed for students who have completed a master’s degree and want to enhance their global knowledge and competencies. This certificate will enable students to add a global specialization to their credentials.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Global Leadership Post-Graduate Certificate, you will be prepared to:

• Critically analyze theories in the multidisciplinary area of global leadership studies.
• Demonstrate a holistic understanding of global leadership.
• Demonstrate an understanding of unique approaches and skills in conducting international research.
• Demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills apparent through both written and oral communication.
• Demonstrate responsibility, accountability, ethical consciousness, and adherence to legal, professional and educational standards of global leadership.

Program Requirements

For students without doctoral experience

• Students must submit a transcript as proof of completed master’s degree.
• 15 credit hours will be required for certificate completion.
• Students must complete RES 7000—Introduction to Research Methods and LDS 7001—Leadership Theory and Research with a B- or above.
• Students must complete three additional Global Leadership core courses with a B- or above.
• Students must apply through the Ph.D. office and be accepted into the certificate program. Once the certificate is successfully completed, a student may apply to the Ph.D. program.

For students with doctoral experience

• Students must submit a transcript as proof of completed doctoral work. Doctoral transcripts will be evaluated for proof of writing and research competency.
• If a student has not completed appropriate coursework, they must complete RES 7000—Introduction to Research Methods with a B- or above.
• Students must complete LDS 7001—Leadership Theory and Research with a B- or above.
• Students must complete three additional Global Leadership core courses with a B- or above.
• Students must apply through the Ph.D. office and be accepted into the certificate program.
