This concentration is ideal for those who are marketers, and for those who are interested in developing marketable skills in marketing communications, visual communications, advertising, public relations and marketing research.

With a business administration degree with a marketing concentration, you will be able to design communications for media, conduct marketing research, develop public relations programs, create advertising campaigns, adapt marketing initiatives for global opportunities and communicate across cultures.

Program Lead

Dr. Lugar Brettin’s experience includes marketing in both domestic and international markets for business-to-business, consumer products and not-for-profit organizations. She is knowledgeable in marketing strategy, strategic planning, marketing communications, business development, market research and media. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and remains active in her discipline. She publishes in peer-reviewed journals focused on marketing and entrepreneurship education.
