School of Education
Inspiring Young Minds
The School of Education’s mission is to educate professionals from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to promote student learning and development, especially within urban schools. Building on quality field experiences, the School of Education develops reflective practitioners who model lifelong learning, technological competence and professionalism. And, the University and the Program (unit) are committed to facilitating excellence through equity, diversity and social advocacy. Additionally, the curricula were developed to meet both State of Indiana and National Standards.
Indiana Tech’s School of Education offers challenging degree programs that will help prepare you for a rewarding career. What makes our program unique is the amount of field experience our students receive throughout their education. They can expect to observe and teach in actual classrooms every semester. In addition, our instructors are experienced professionals from the teaching profession who provide practical, hands-on training to our future educators.
